Amendments to data

Research England uses many different sets of data submitted by higher education institutions for a variety of purposes. Assessment of whether errors should be corrected if any are found in this data are conducted through one of two routes:

  1. For amending data in HESA Higher Education – Business and Community Interaction (HE-BCI) returns, use the Research England data amendment process
  2. For amendments to other data returns, use the joint Office for Students (OfS) and Research England data amendment process
