How research can bring communities together to explore cultural heritage

Funding from UK Research and Innovation’s World Class Labs programme is helping organisations such as Historic Environment Scotland to engage people with the past.

The funding is allocated through the Arts and Humanities Research Council’s (AHRC) Creative Research Capability awards.

It allows the latest technology and expertise to be harnessed to transform our understanding of our history and surroundings, and how we engage with research.
