As of 7 February 2023, this government department has changed; the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) is now responsible for the sponsorship of UKRI.
The Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has written to UK Research and Innovation to confirm the funding available for the 2022 to 2023 financial year (April to March), and provisional funding for the 2023 to 2024 and 2024 to 2025 financial years. The letter also identifies the policies and priorities that should underpin our approach to funding.
