A wide array of funding options are available to support biomedical researchers and innovators, whatever their career stage. These are awarded by both the Medical Research Council (MRC) and other national funding bodies.
Varying levels of support are available across eight categories of funding. The following pages list the funding options for each category, each of which includes:
- a description of the funding option with links to the funder website
- what career stage you must be at to apply (where applicable)
- how much funding is provided or what expenses are allowed
- how long the funding will last.
