Fellowship focus
Kavin’s fellowship involves multiple different projects.
First is a participatory system mapping project with inputs from policy colleagues in the former BEIS and the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities. It aims to map out and explore the interactions, and effects of interactions, between policies affecting the decarbonisation of the existing housing stock in Great Britain.
The second project explores the use of agent-based modelling in government through a combination of desk-based review and in-depth interviews with modellers and model users across various government departments and their collaborators.
The final project is a brief review of real-time monitoring of policies in academic literature.
