Industrial CASE allocation to industrial partners

Industrial CASE (ICASE) studentships, in the form of ‘vouchers’, are allocated to businesses and related organisations each year using an algorithm based on the organisations’ financial contributions to EPSRC-funded research.

Eligible organisations are ranked by their algorithmic number. This is calculated from:

  • their total annualised contribution to the EPSRC portfolio
  • the number of grants they support.

Vouchers are distributed among them according to their rank.

About 40 organisations will receive an allocation, depending on how many vouchers are available in that year. Any vouchers which a company is unable to use are reallocated among the other recipients.
