Audience of the future

Audience of the Future was a UKRI Challenge Fund investment of £39.3 million into the development of new immersive technologies such as virtual, augmented and mixed reality. The challenge also invested in research to better understand audiences for immersive productions in the fields of art, culture, heritage and entertainment.

Collaborative humanitarian protection research programme

This area of investment funds high-quality research into humanitarian protection of people affected by conflict.

The goal of this research is to:

better understand the causes of humanitarian protection risks and violations
gather evidence about which interventions are most effective in improving humanitarian protection outcomes
