Details

In 2024 UKRI commissioned SQW to survey training grants and research organisations on the effect of UKRI stipend levels on UKRI studentships. The report provides an analysis of their findings.

The stipend level is updated periodically.

The document titled ‘Minimum stipend levels to 2024 to 2025’ details the research councils’ collective minimum stipend level from 2004 to 2005 until 2024 to 2025.

Before 2004 to 2005, research councils set different minimum stipend levels. Data is supplied from the Natural Environment Research Council to the period 1994 to 1995.
