In order to identify opportunities and challenges faced by the UK regenerative medicine community, spanning discovery, translational science and clinical delivery, four UK research councils and the Technology Strategy Board (TSB) have undertaken a review of the field. The four research councils are the:
- Medical Research Council (MRC)
- Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC)
- Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC)
- Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).
