Details

This strategic framework builds on the outcomes of the Accelerator Strategic Review undertaken in 2017 and advice from STFC’s Technology and Accelerator Advisory Board. It aims to set out how STFC will take forward and prioritise its work in the accelerator fields.

The framework features updates of recent developments within the strategic landscape, such as the UKRI research and innovation infrastructure opportunities report and landscape analysis and the European Particle Physics Strategy Update.

The content of the framework builds on the input provided as part of previous consultative exercises, while maintaining the flexibility to respond to future shifts in the broader national and international strategic landscape. It is intended that the framework will be an evolutionary document, reviewed and updated every 2 to 3 years to reflect the latest priorities.

This is the website for UKRI: our seven research councils, Research England and Innovate UK. Let us know if you have feedback or would like to help improve our online products and services.
