Following community consultation, the Astronomy Advisory Panel (AAP) is pleased to present its 2022 roadmap for astronomy. Included in the roadmap are several recommendations for the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC).

The AAP Science and Technology Roadmap presented here is the result of more than 2 years’ work by the AAP and the astronomy scientific community to provide a brief overview of UK Astrophysics research, areas of strength, opportunities for growth and areas for strategic investment.
