This report provides a comprehensive overview UKRI Smart Sustainable Plastic Packaging Challenge impacts, featuring key statistics, case studies and video links.
It demonstrates how the UKRI Smart Sustainable Plastic Packaging Challenge has deployed almost £60 million to drive plastic packaging circularity and sustainability. This is bringing together academia, industry and the third sector to tackle the technical, commercial and behavioural challenges associated with plastic packaging waste.
The UKRI Smart Sustainable Plastic Packaging Challenge was delivered by Innovate UK and the Natural Environment Research Council’s Enabling Research Programme.
