This is the third of 3 short ‘insight briefs’ from the Prospering from the Energy Revolution challenge programme.

Since 2018 the challenge programme has funded more than 80 projects and trials developing aspects of smart local energy systems. The insight briefs outline the opportunities and barriers that the projects have discovered in their work.

This report focuses on the question of skills and capabilities: what the experiences of the projects tells us about the skills needed to drive further and faster with the realisation of smart local energy systems and the benefits they can bring.
