This review was conducted through face-to-face and telephone interviews with 35 stakeholders from:

  • UK centres of excellence
  • international experts, industry and other funders.

Data were also collected on:

  • facilities
  • resources
  • numbers of scans conducted across the centres of excellence using a questionnaire.
