Operation Earth is a national programme that engages, inspires and involves school-age children and their families and communities with the Natural Environment Research Council’s (NERC) world-leading environmental science research.
The programme highlights the relevance of contemporary environmental science issues to everyone’s daily lives and to society’s future.
It is led by the Association for Science and Discovery Centres (ASDC) and phase one was created in partnership with three development partners: Dynamic Earth, Eden Project, and Natural History Museum, with scientific expertise from NERC.
The infographics were created as part of the evaluations for the programme and highlight the key information from each phase of the project including:
- audiences engaged
- NERC environmental science topics discussed
- number of researchers trained.
Find out more about the programme and the full evaluation reports on the ASDC website.
