Details

The FFC report delves into the prospective growth of the UK in the future flight sector, encompassing unmanned aerial systems, advanced air mobility, and regional electric aircraft. The UK possesses a competitive edge in regulation, design engineering, and infrastructure. Yet, challenges such as research and development underinvestment and post-EU-Exit economy impacts could hinder progress.

The FFC is a £300 million programme aiming to bolster the UK’s position in this domain. The report evaluates the impact of the FFC based on technological readiness, collaboration, regulatory frameworks, and government policy. It also presents insights on the programme’s management, structure, and delivery.
