Details

The Industrial Decarbonisation Challenge was created and launched by UK Research and Innovation in July 2019. Since then, the challenge has invested £210 million pounds of public money paired with over £261 million pounds of matched funding from industry.

The investment has boosted the development of low carbon technologies specifically, carbon capture utilisation and storage and hydrogen production and distribution to increase competitiveness of key industrial regions and support the UK’s drive for clean growth.
