UKRI provide funding for knowledge exchange via the £260 million HEIF to support and develop a broad range of knowledge-based interactions between higher education providers and the wider world.

The accountability statements for the cluster V sets out a summary of each provider’s strategic objectives for knowledge exchange, alongside plans for how the providers will utilise HEIF to achieve these objectives in line with government priorities, up to 2024 to 2025.

The higher education providers are grouped by the relevant knowledge exchange cluster. Cluster V includes very large, very high research intensive and broad-discipline universities with significant amounts of research funded by a range of sources, including UKRI, government bodies and charities.
