Details

This guidance explains what is considered a significant event and the process of reporting a significant event to Research England. The process covers:

If there is a likelihood that you will be unable to fully utilise your QR funding in supporting research activity

  • any discussion of potential exit from the Office for Students (OfS) regulated HE system with OfS
  • any decision taken or formally proposed not to make any submissions to future Research Excellence Framework exercises
  • changes in accounting officer
  • proposed or possible, mergers, changes of institutional form or takeovers
