Details

This is UKRI’s sixth annual gender pay gap report, which highlights the percentage difference between the average hourly earnings for males and females across the organisation. The gender pay gap is a measure across all jobs in UKRI, not of the difference in pay between males and females for doing the same job.

For the fourth time we have also published our ethnicity pay gap. This details the difference in average pay of minority ethnic employees compared to the average pay of white British employees, regardless of the level or type of work carried out.

The report also includes details on the initiatives implemented to help contribute to narrowing the pay gap, as well as our priorities for the next year.

This is the website for UKRI: our seven research councils, Research England and Innovate UK. Let us know if you have feedback or would like to help improve our online products and services.
