The UK Research and Innovation Future Flight Challenge, delivered by Innovate UK and the Economic and Social Research Council, is driving innovation across the aviation ecosystem to position the UK as a global leader in advanced solutions.

This report details the findings from a public dialogue about people’s views on non-passenger carrying drones, eVTOLs and hydrogen or electric regional air mobility.

The dialogue engaged with a representative sample of participants from across the UK through a series of workshops to understand:

  • their hopes and fears for future flight technologies and services
  • their expectations for regulation and decision-making
