Details

The Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and Department for International Development (DFID) Joint Fund for Poverty Alleviation Research aimed to provide a more robust conceptual and empirical basis for development, and deliver demonstrable impact on policy and practice for poverty reduction in developing countries.

The independent evaluation aimed to asses impact of the joint fund on:

  • policy makers
  • practitioners
  • other stakeholder groups.

It also sought to identify the most important determinants of impact.
