Social science helps us to understand how societies work, and how we can help institutions and individuals to flourish. Challenges, such as how to achieve sustainable economic growth and how to improve health and wellbeing for all sectors of society, require interdisciplinary collaboration with a major contribution from social science.
ESRC supports research which tackles major issues, and makes a real difference to people’s lives, both in the UK and globally.
