The EPSRC healthcare technologies strategy identifies challenges that can be addressed through research in engineering and physical sciences.
The challenges are:
- improving population health and prevention
- transforming early prediction and diagnosis
- discovering and accelerating the development of new interventions
It also identifies enablers and outcomes that research in health technologies should address.
