Sci-Tech Daresbury Open Week happens once every 4 years and is a unique opportunity for schools to visit the innovative and inspiring Daresbury Laboratory here in the north-west!
Daresbury Laboratory is 1 of 3 research council run national laboratories where children will come face to face with our staff including real scientists, engineers and technicians working in cutting edge facilities while experiencing world leading science and technology.
The last event provided unparalleled access for 1,000 students who were wowed by our ‘behind the scenes’ tours, talks and workshops, and mesmerised by the diversity of activities in our hands on science fair. This year we are going bigger and bolder, with 1,450 pupil places available. We have inspiring themed activities for children in key stage 2, key stage 3, key stage 4 and key stage 5.
