Professor Nadeem Sarwar

MRC Council member

Professor Nadeem Sarwar is a member of the Medical Research Council (MRC) Council.

Professor Sarwar is an internationally recognised and multi-sector expert in scientific and business models at the intersection of biotechnology and data sciences to drive life sciences innovation.

Nadeem is currently Founder and Head of the Transformational Prevention Unit, Novo Nordisk. He has built a pioneering ‘end-to-end’ global new organisation to deliver scientifically valid and commercially viable solutions to prevent obesity and its consequences, including through execution and implementation of a network of several external partnerships and strategic alliances.
