EPSRC Executive Director, Cross-Council Programmes
Dr Kedar Pandya is Executive Director, Cross-Council Programmes at the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).
Kedar is responsible for:
- artificial intelligence and robotics
- digital security and resilience
- energy and decarbonisation
- healthcare technologies
- manufacturing and the circular economy
- quantum technologies
He has particular responsibility for cross-cutting strategic technologies and as part of this is Senior Reporting Officer for the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Technology Missions Fund. He is also a member of the Government’s Net Zero Innovation Board and Chair of the National Quantum Technologies Programme Board.
Kedar works in partnership with senior colleagues across UKRI, government departments and wider stakeholders to deliver mission-led investments in national priority areas for societal and economic benefit, and to develop disruptive ideas for future intervention.
