Innovate UK Council member
Dr John Fingleton is a senior independent member on the Council of Innovate UK.
John is the Founder and CEO of Fingleton, which helps business leaders navigate strategic regulatory issues. He is a Trustee of the Centre for Economic Policy Research.
Prior to founding Fingleton, John ran the Office of Fair Trading (now the Competition and Markets Authority) and the Irish Competition Authority, and chaired the International Competition Network.
A graduate of Trinity College Dublin and Nuffield College Oxford, John taught economics and held research positions in:
