Engagement Lead
Before joining Research England, Joanne worked at the Office for Students (OfS) having moved from the Higher Education Funding Council for England.
Following her role as an HE Policy Advisor in the North Institutional Team, Joanne took up a post as an HE Engagement Manager in the Alternative Provider Engagement Team.
Her most recent role at OfS was as a Senior Risk Manager in compliance and student protection.
After studying English Literature and Russian at the University of Leeds, followed by an MA and PhD in Russian Literature from the University of Bath, Joanne worked at several universities in both research and programme support roles.
