AHRC Associate Director for Major Programmes and Cross Council Partnership

Cathy Kerfoot is Associate Director for Major Programmes and Cross Council Partnership at the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).

She is responsible for leading major multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary investments, including our work in design, artificial intelligence and the creative industries. She also oversees strategy development, stakeholder engagement and monitoring, evaluation and learning.

Prior to joining AHRC, Cathy worked for a number of years in national higher education policy. She has a PhD in literature from the University of Leeds.
