ESRC Head of UKRI Challenge Fund Delivery Team
Bruce Etherington is Head of UKRI Challenge Fund Delivery Team at the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).
The team oversees ESRC’S involvement with the Industrial Strategy Challenges, helping to develop future ESRC contributions to emerging UKRI Challenge Fund Challenges and ensuring that existing ESRC led UKRI Challenge Fund investments are delivering the strategic benefits for their programme.
Prior to joining ESRC, Bruce spent twelve years working at Cardiff University firstly in public and community engagement, and ending up running the team supporting impact and knowledge exchange for the arts, humanities and social sciences.
