ESRC Strategic Lead for Data Strategy
Bridget Taylor is Strategic Lead for Data Strategy at the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).
The Data Strategy team is responsible for devising strategy to use ESRC resources for data infrastructure to support social and interdisciplinary science most effectively. Its work includes development of a financial strategy and a common assessment framework, and gathering of evidence through scoping exercises and projects for options assessment to support strategic decision making.
Bridget has worked in ESRC data and infrastructure for a number of years, and on secondment at the Medical Research Council in 2016. Her background is data intensive social science, including survey research.
