Apply for funding for international research in the social sciences.
Your project must be a collaboration. This must include researchers based in at least three of these countries:
- UK
- France
- Germany
- Canada.
You can also choose to involve a Japanese partner.
Your research must be original and make a significant contribution to scientific knowledge.
Each funding organisation partner has its own funding limits.
The full economic cost of the UK part of the project can cost between £200,000 to £600,000. ESRC will fund 80% of this.
You can apply to:
- ANR for up to €450,000 per project
- SSHRC for up to C$400,000 per project, with a maximum of C$135,000 per year, per project
- DFG for any amount per project.
This funding opportunity is part of the Open Research Area (ORA) for the Social Sciences scheme. This round is coordinated by ANR.
