Launch of first call funded through a new partnership between the UK, Japan and Philippines to tackle sustainable development challenges in South East Asia.
UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Philippines, are aiming to connect existing projects in the region.
This is in order to exploit synergies, develop new collaborations and increase impact from these investments.
JST, UKRI and DOST are all research funders who focus on resolving global challenges, propelled forward by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda.
Whilst the individual programmes and activities of the three funders can deliver excellent research and impact, we can further extend the value of this research by building linkages and working across disciplines.
