The event has been organised by the Natural Environment Research Council, part of UK Research and Innovation, in partnership with the National Oceanography Centre and Techniquest, Cardiff.
Bringing environmental science to life
‘Explore Our Planet – Archwiliwch Ein Planed’ is an environmental science showcase based at Techniquest Cardiff and on the RRS James Cook, which will be visiting Cardiff Bay for two days only.
The event will bring the world of environmental science to life for all.
It promises to be full of fun with hands-on interactive science attractions and in-person talks by the UK’s leading environmental scientists.
The event will include free, ticketed access to Techniquest and the RRS.
Book tickets in advance
Visitors must book their free tickets in advance, both to visit Techniquest and to access the RRS James Cook, and it’s first come first served!
Tickets will be released from 10:00am UK time on 19 September 2024.
