The knowledge exchange framework (KEF) decisions report confirms the changes that will be implemented to the KEF as it evolves to its second iteration, KEF2.

KEF options survey

The KEF options survey, which was open during spring 2022, invited specific feedback from the sector on a number of potential options for development.

These included:

  • amendments to the underpinning methodology and metrics
  • changes to perspective titles
  • preferences for future visualisations
  • frequency of narrative statements.

KEF2 decisions report

The KEF2 decisions report follows the 2021 review of the first iteration of the KEF and incorporates and details the feedback received through the KEF options survey.

Further information

KEF2 will be published in September 2022 and present the latest available data from:

  • 2018-19
  • 2019-20
  • 2020-21.
