This workshop aims to bring together key leaders across environmental, computational and data sciences in order to understand the challenges and opportunities for developing a coherent and accessible digital landscape for environmental researchers and innovators.
NERC is keen to capture your views on the current barriers and enablers towards undertaking data-driven environmental science and how we might build new capability and capacity in this area to support our community.
This is the last of three identical workshops being run by NERC (two in-person and one virtual). The other workshops will be held on the following dates:
The workshops will consist of short talks and a series of facilitated discussions. Further details on the structure and agenda will follow shortly, but in the meantime please hold this date in your diary!
The outcomes of this workshop will inform current scoping around potential future investment in environmental data science infrastructure.
Delegates will be selected to ensure a balance across domains and sectors and those who have demonstrable experience or interest in this area.
