Peer review is the cornerstone of the work of the Medical Research Council (MRC) as it identifies the grants and fellowships to fund. Proposals for funding are taken through an assessment process described below.
All researchers supported by MRC are expected to participate in peer review. You can also find out how we assess institutes, units and centres.
