Find the facility or resource you need, and check how to use it.
You do not always need BBSRC funding to use BBSRC’s facilities and resources. Many of them are available to organisations and businesses as well as researchers.
If you’re applying for BBSRC research funding
Discuss your research proposal with the facility or service you want to use before submitting your application.
Also check BBSRC’s research grants guide to find out about:
- the application process – in some cases, you need to apply separately to the facility after your grant is awarded
- what to include in your BBSRC funding application – you usually need confirmation that you can use the facility or resource, and a technical assessment.
Ask a question about BBSRC facilities or resources
Contact BBSRC for information about using facilities and resources.
If you’ve received BBSRC funding to use a community-based resource or facility, you can ask for it to be listed on this website so other researchers know about it. You’ll need:
- the name of the resource
- details of how other researches can apply to use it
- your BBSRC grant reference number, if you have it.
