This Code is intended as a guide to all members of the Arts and Humanities Research Council’s (AHRC) council, committees, Peer Review College, and other advisory groups. It sets out how AHRC conducts its business and guides members in their duties.
It is based upon the guidance issued by the government about the conduct of members of non-departmental public bodies, as well as the Seven Principles of Public Life, which should be observed by all those serving the public.
